Statement of faith

I, Godwin Heart, believe in Lord God the Holy Trinity as the one and only Triune God: one God in three Persons, co-equal and co-eternal. To deny the Trinity — to call it pagan, or to say God is only one Person — is to deny the testimony of Christ.

Archangel Michael and the pre-Israel priest Melchizedek are created servants. Jesus is not Michael and is not Melchizedek. Michael is a prince under the King of kings. Melchizedek was made like unto the Son of God as an analogy, as Joseph was an analogy — a servant, not the Son Himself.

Faith, new birth, and grace

Those who place faith in the Messiah Jesus — the only way to the Father, and so the only way to receive the Holy Spirit — are born again, a new creation, once saved always saved. Works will appear because a new heart loves what the Lord loves. No one can repent of all sins. Even the lost can feel sorrow for sin and still not be saved. Lordship salvation is rejected. So is the claim that you must keep believing without any break in order to stay saved. There are times we are not faithful; He remains faithful to those who have believed and received the Spirit.

That emphasis is stronger in the coming Old Testament work than it was in every New Testament line. Scripture shows believers who fall hard and are still the Lord’s, with real consequences. The wages of sin is death. The soul does not have eternal life apart from Jesus. The Lake of Fire is the second death.

Hell, rapture, and related questions

Godwin Heart once held eternal conscious torment for all the lost. The view taught here is conditional immortality: the devil and his two figures remain in torment, while the rest of the wicked are annihilated — unconsciously dead. Hell is not soul sleep; the dead in hell are awake until that judgment.

The pre-tribulation rapture of the church is taught here. Dispensational Zionism is taught here. Attacks on John Nelson Darby and on the rapture are rejected.

Nephilim are held to be fully human, not angel-human hybrids. The earth is round and young (about six thousand years), not flat and not millions of years old. The claim that Christmas is pagan, built on Alexander Hislop, is rejected. Commercial abuse of holidays is a separate matter from that charge.

Churches and movements

This platform is free grace / hyper-grace. Denominations built on lordship salvation, or on examining yourself until you have repented of everything, are treated as apostate teaching. Seventh-day Adventism is treated as a false religion founded by Ellen G. White, not as a Christian denomination. Hebrew Roots is rejected. Amish and Anabaptist foundations are rejected. Anti-Zionism is rejected.
